Men’s Ministry

The main purpose of our Men’s Ministry at Mandeville Christian Fellowship Church is to get men together and have them worship together. When Jesus chose His disciples, he chose 12 men from varying aspects of life. Among the 12 were fishermen, a tax collector, and a revolutionary. Although they were all different, God used them in an extraordinary manner. We teach men to spiritual leaders of their households, not slave masters. We give them key principles and ideas to accomplish this task through our monthly meetings. During these meetings we give them resources backed by scriptures to help become godly men. We at Mandeville Christian Fellowship Church think of Christianity as a journey through life. We take the good along with the bad and build upon it through out testimony.

Jesus told His disciples, “Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men” Matthew 4:19. That is the main purpose of our Men’s Ministry, follow Jesus and become “fishers of men”. In the Bible we see the disciples as “tough men” but all that changed when they came to know Jesus. We know that a relationship with Jesus is life changing and rewarding. This why we show that there is more to church than just church.

The men meet on the 2nd Friday of every month where we discuss issues ranging from: parenting, finances, becoming the spiritual head of the household, and other topics. We challenge the men to think “out of the box’ on issues. We compare what the world thinks and would do, and then think what we should do as Christians. All meetings start with pot-luck dinner. After feeding the body then we feed the soul with the Word of God.
