Acts 9:8-9 "Saul got up from the ground, but when he opened his eyes he could see nothing. So they led him by the hand into Damascus. For three days he was blind, and did not eat or drink anything."

Saul had a life changing experience that made him depend on others. He had seen the Lord in the form of a Light that took away his sight. Saul (Paul) became dependent upon the Lord until he heard from Him again. Saul (Paul) set aside the flesh to gain a better understanding of the message and purpose.

As Christians we to depend on the Lord but we should not wait for a life altering experience to seek a better understanding of His purpose. We should pray always and fast to keep the flesh under subjection, as needed, in our walk from glory to glory.

Have you ever had a life altering experience? Did you go to the Lord for direction and meaning while fasting and praying? What or who do you seek when you are under pressure? Is it the Lord? Have you developed a dependency on the Lord or something else? How do you change?
